1. Service Termination
Clients may request termination of services at any time by submitting a written request through the official support channel, billing system, or other approved communication method used by Marketify Plus.
Termination of services does not automatically transfer ownership of website files, design structures, configurations, custom development work, or digital assets if the related project balance has not been paid in full.
All outstanding balances, fees, unpaid invoices, or pending payment obligations must be resolved before any transfer, release, or offboarding process is completed, unless otherwise approved in writing by Marketify Plus.
2. Ownership Requirement for Transfers
Website files, designs, configurations, custom work, and digital assets will only be released or transferred if the applicable ownership conditions have been satisfied.
Transfers may proceed only if:
- the full project balance has been paid in full, or
- the client has completed the remaining balance under the applicable Monthly Ownership Plan or other written payment agreement
If any related balance remains unpaid, Marketify Plus reserves the right to deny, delay, or limit transfer requests until all financial obligations have been fully satisfied.
3. Migration / Offboarding Fee
A Migration / Offboarding Service Fee may apply when a client requests assistance with transferring their website, files, data, or digital assets to another provider, platform, or internal team.
This fee may cover, where applicable:
- preparation of website files
- secure backup creation
- database exports
- file packaging and transfer preparation
- account access coordination
- documentation or basic technical instructions for transfer
- manual administrative handling of offboarding requests
This fee compensates the technical and administrative labor required to properly prepare, organize, verify, and deliver the website or related assets for transfer.
Migration or offboarding assistance is not included in standard hosting, maintenance, or support plans unless clearly stated in writing.
4. Website Backup Delivery
What May Be Provided
- a full website backup archive (such as ZIP format), where available
- database export
- basic migration instructions or general restoration guidance
- account-related access details that the client is entitled to receive
Client Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for uploading, restoring, and configuring the website with the new hosting provider unless additional migration services are purchased.
- Marketify Plus is not responsible for compatibility issues, errors, or failed restores caused by third-party hosting environments.
5. Third-Party Accounts
Certain services used in website operation, marketing, analytics, communication, or domain management may belong to third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
- domain registrars
- email platforms
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Google Business Profile
- marketing tools, APIs, or external integrations
Where possible and where the client has ownership rights, access may be transferred or shared with the client. However, Marketify Plus is not responsible for third-party platform policies, delays, verification requirements, limitations, suspensions, or transfer restrictions.
6. Transfer Timeline
Migration or offboarding requests are typically processed within:
Processing time may vary depending on:
- project complexity
- website size and hosting configuration
- custom development dependencies
- third-party integrations or platform access requirements
- account verification status
- outstanding balances or unresolved billing matters
7. Data Retention
After service termination, website files, backups, or related account data may be retained for a limited time solely at the discretion of Marketify Plus and subject to server availability, account status, and operational limitations.
- website files and backups may be stored for up to 30 days after service termination, where available
- after the retention period, files may be permanently deleted from Marketify Plus systems without further obligation
Clients are responsible for requesting backup delivery within the available retention period. After deletion, recovery may no longer be possible. The server is not a museum; it will not preserve digital fossils forever.
8. Technical Support After Migration
Once a website has been transferred, migrated, or released from Marketify Plus infrastructure:
- technical support under the original hosting or maintenance plan is no longer included
- Marketify Plus is not responsible for performance, uptime, security, software conflicts, email deliverability, or configuration issues on the receiving environment
- post-migration troubleshooting, consulting, or setup support may be available under a separate consulting or support fee
9. Limitation of Responsibility
Marketify Plus cannot guarantee compatibility, performance, security, configuration success, or restoration accuracy once a website is moved to another hosting provider, development team, or technical environment.
The client assumes responsibility for the website and its operation after migration is completed, including any issues related to server setup, plugin conflicts, outdated software, unsupported configurations, DNS propagation, or third-party platform restrictions.
10. Policy Updates
Marketify Plus reserves the right to update this Migration & Offboarding Policy at any time to reflect service, operational, billing, legal, or security changes.
The latest version of this policy will remain available on the official website. Continued use of services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised version where applicable.
